    Overview

    Position Summary

    Company is looking for a qualified intern to join our Business Development/Sales team. Our Business Development department develops the enhancement and implementation of new business, while managing each phase through Project management and creating innovative solutions for major companies nationwide. We seek an intern who can participate in various stages of business development and project management.

    This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Contract Logistics Business Development.

    Responsibilities

    Job Responsibilities

    • Candidate will be tasked and trained on the following areas of responsibilities:

      • Assist in the creation of responses to RFI’s / RFP’s
      • Assist in the distribution or delivery of customer pricing reports to business development members
      • Assist with fulfillment of value stream information
      • Assist with execution of project plans
      • Assist with the preparation and delivery project plan reports and presentations
      • Perform analysis of marketing and sales data
      • Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
      • Prepare customer presentations
      • Enter contact information into contact management systems, CRM reports
      • Assist and Maintain records to include customer contracts, expiration dates, and rates
      • in providing time studies for special projectsAssist in collection information for AutoCad drawings

    Qualifications

    Minimum Required Qualifications

    Company is looking for an undergraduate student who preferably is majoring in Business, Logistics, Contract Logistics, Sales, Business Development, and/or Logistics Engineering. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Web usage, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

    • Requirements for Undergraduate Students

      • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as a full-time student (minimum of 12 semester hours)
      • Must have a minimum of 60 credit hours
      • Must be in good academic standing

      Requirements for Graduate Students

      • Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited college or university leading to an advanced degree in a related field
      • Must be in good academic standing

    Benefits

    Part-time Internship

    Flexible Schedule and duration

    Time frame: Period of up to 12 months.

    Undergraduate Program: $15/HR

    Graduate Program: $18/HR

    Based on program details such as schedule and hours, interns are may be eligible for Paid Holidays, accrue vacation and participation of 401K plan.
