Job Description

Summary:

Our Senior Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for providing strategic and tactical support in all areas of HR. You will partner with HR and Business leaders to execute HR strategies in designated business units based at our Global HQ's in Cleveland Ohio (North Olmsted suburb), serve as a consultant on HR policies and procedures as well as act as an employee champion and change agent.

Responsibilities

  • Assume ownership of the short-term and delivery of the long-term Human Resources (HR) strategies for designated Business Units; serve as a champion for the unique employees' needs in each business
  • Establish partnerships with designated Business Units by serving as an active and contributing member on leadership teams
  • Serve as the primary Business Unit liaison for all HR functions by consulting with employees and leadership on all HR matters. Partner with HR Director or above on complex issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources Directors to provide meaningful analytics to drive informed decision making in support of all Business Units and support functions
  • Provide strategic and tactical HR support including:
    • Performance management
    • Resolving complaints and grievances
    • Managing and facilitating HR policies and programs
    • Counseling and/or training employees and management
    • Managing the introduction and administration of HR programs
    • Leading and facilitating change and succession planning
    • Supporting talent acquisition, development and retention efforts
    • Ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (HR) or a related field is required. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience encompassing all areas of human resources including: HR consulting and analytics, talent acquisition, organizational development, compensation, performance management and employee relations is required.
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification is a plus.
  • Experience in change management and process improvement is strongly preferred.
