Working under general supervision of the Director Sales, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the Corporate Sales Intern, will learn what it takes to compete in the business world, the importance of customer service, and how technology is changing the workplace. The Intern will get to know our business by working with our customer-focused sales team.

Business Development

  • Lead scrubbing and lead generation via cold calls
  • Qualifying new customers, follow up calls
  • Customer Service/Follow up calls
  • Entering Orders/Generating Quotes
  • Post sale order maintenance
  • Support existing Account Managers through the sales enablement process
  • Work with top five vendors to understand Connections Partnership

Job Shadowing

  • Shadow the Account Manager, Sales Coach, Sales Manager, and Sales Director
  • Observation of Interviews
  • Sit in's with Product Management, Finance, and Credit.

Business Plans

  • 11 Week sales competition Business Plan overview
  • Develop and implement a site Focus Day
