Position Overview

Field Verification Services is looking to fill a Project Manager (PM) position; this position provides project management for Field Verification project types. The PM is accountable for developing and implementing a viable plan, which supports operational management and overall project financial health.

Job Duties

-Fosters collaborative and partnering relationships with Field Operations/Field Inventory Managers to deliver successful projects

-Ensures compliance with DRG Policies and Procedures.

-Participate in proposal and bid development as required.

-Responsible for overall project management and customer management for contracts with major utility distribution customers.

-Responsible for GIS mapping analysis & engineering planning

-Serve as the single-point of contact, establishing, nurturing, and managing customer expectations regarding the project performance and building long-term relationships for the Company.

-Manages project performance (scope, safety, quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction) to meet or beat target goals.

-Responsible for implementing appropriate document retention process

-Responsible to understand financial tracking and project management systems, including the ability to run and analyze key reports, and development of recovery plans as required

-Responsible for data integrity and timely reporting to management

-Accountable for timely billing to customers, including sending/receiving payment

-Develop, optimize and update project schedules for multiple, simultaneous large projects using project scheduling software, as necessary

-Ability to frequently travel to job sites is an integral part of what a PM will do

Qualifications

-BS degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent related industry experience.

-Relevant field experience of 5 years with project supervisory/management exposure or experience

-Understanding of operations, contract administration, contract management, processes, and standards, with emphasis on the utility industry.

-Experience in project planning and priority scheduling

Additional Information

The ideal candidate would be comfortable with traveling from location to location within service territory. Candidates must be comfortable working full time with a minimum of 40 - 45 hours per week.
