We have grown over the last 37 years from auctioning cars off in a field, to our modern 12,000 square foot Auction Facility. Running 4 lanes with new and diverse inventory every week. A Mechanic for Skipco Auto Auction in Canal Fulton, OH will complete maintenance and/or repairs on Company vehicles and customer jobs as directed by the Service Manager and/or Operations Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Diagnose vehicles as presented

2. Repair vehicles to prepare them for auction

3. Repair Company vehicles as needed 

4. Complete routine maintenance on Company vehicles
    

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
    

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Prior education and/or experience in automotive repair

2. Ability to perform physical tasks as directed

3. Attention to detail

4. Reliable

5. Good attendance record
    

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

1. None

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

1. Must be able to life up to 50lbs

2. Must be able to stand, sit or bend for extended periods of times
