Job Overview

Our Logistics Project Manager is Chugach's representative and has responsibility and accountability for the execution of contract requirements for lifecycle logistics, supply and material, transportation, equipment, mail, and disposal management. They apply leadership principles to promote Chugach's Core Behaviors.

This position is contingent upon contract award.


Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Job Functions:
  • Management for planning and implementation of all logistics activities, in coordination with customer and for use of Chugach-resources.
  • Compliance administration of operating policies and procedures consistent with the contract, and corporate policies, procedures, standards, requirements, and expectations.
  • Financial management of project budget.
  • Supervision and training of project personnel.
  • Commits to creating a safe workplace and Chugach's culture: "Safety Today Secures Tomorrow".
  • Develops and implements strategies, processes, and initiatives to achieve customer satisfaction, and performance requirements.
  • Performs related work as needed to fulfill requirements of the contract.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five years' experience performing core logistics functions.
  • Experience managing the operations of a U.S. Federal Government contract.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office software.
  • Possess the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work.
  • Experience with the use of Maximo and other work control systems to plan, track, control and report work-related accomplishments, schedules and resources.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level clearance, which necessitates being a US citizen, and passing a background and drug screening.
  • Valid state Driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.
  • Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required.
