Brown and Caldwell (BC) is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support our growing number of ozone projects in drinking water, reuse, and industrial water. Detailed Description:

  • Work hand-in-hand with clients and project delivery teams nationwide, to develop unique solutions that protect public health.
  • Manage and execute ozone-related water treatment projects, including process selection and preliminary design.
  • Evaluate existing ozone systems to develop and implement optimization and upgrade alternatives.
  • Develop into a technical leader on ozone-based water treatment projects.
  • Assist in developing and preparing process design drawings, specifications, calculations, plans, and other technical deliverables for a variety of drinking water projects.
  • Assist with ozone system commissioning and start-up, including training plant staff.
  • Collaborate with BC research and development on applicable technologies and projects.
  • Read, summarize, and prepare technical reports regarding ozone treatment.
  • Prepare and make presentations to clients and for professional meetings.
  • Assist with and serve as a technical lead for business development pursuits.
  • Participate in professional organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in related engineering field (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical etc.) required.
  • Minimum of 5 years (advanced degrees count as 2 years) of progressively increasing responsibility in the drinking water industry including familiarity with the following: ozone treatment, facility master planning, data analysis, and water treatment plant / advanced treatment planning or design.
  • Experience with full-scale or pilot plants with ozone and biofiltration.
  • Robust task organization, execution, and leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and prepare clear and concise written reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PE License preferred.

Salary:

Location A: $85,000- $116,000

Location B: $94,000- $128,000

Location C: $102,000- $140,000
