SUMMARY Coordinates the entire order process from point of purchase through shipment. Works closely with customer base, territory manager and sales manager in communicating lead times, quotes and market information. Responsible for specific geographic area and customer base within that area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as customer contact for all Order Management o Builds and maintains customer relationship o Initiates production cycle by receiving and entering orders for production o Reviews pricing &product for accuracy o Works with the V.P. of Sales to meet or exceed company metrics o Coordinates & schedules daily shipping schedule o Advises customer of ship dates and times, schedules daily truck schedule with accurate delivery dates, follow up to assure on time delivery
Serves as customer contact for all Quote management o Enters quotes with pricing guidelines o Faxes or emails quotes to customers and sales reps, follow up on current quotes o Tracks and follows up on quotes
Establish a means of regular contact with customers and record market information o Establishes regular calling patterns to customer base & logs significant discussions in CRM) o Communicates pertinent information to CDH management staff
Other Responsibilities Include: o Expected to cold call and prospect for new customers o Resolves sales adjustments (credits)m coordinates returns/pick ups, logs necessary incident utilizing CRMs o Maintains and updates customer contact information o Attends regularly scheduled sales training meetings o Limited travel to assigned territory

Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree preferred
2+ years experience selling in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to analyze complex issues.
