Position Summary

West Surgical is a post-op Surgical Telemetry Unit comprised of 26 beds and provides care to the Adult General Surgical Patient, the Bariatric Surgical Patient, Orthopedic Surgical Patients, RNF patients requiring Telemetry and may admit stable Step-Down status patients. All nurses on the unit require BLS upon hire and must obtain ACLS certification within a year of hire. We are proud to utilize a multi-disciplinary health care team approach to provide quality care to our patients.

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
