As a Traffic Engineer, you will be challenged with the following roles and responsibilities including:

• Develop traffic signal, lighting, and ITS designs.
• Assist with marketing and business development.
• Attend Client meetings.
• Develop plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Provide Traffic Engineering support for other Mott MacDonald's offices when required.
• Prepare drawings in MicroStation.
• HCS, TransModeler, Synchro, and SIDRA VISSIM experience a plus.

We invite applications from candidates with the following experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering or a relevant degree.
• Self-motivated and able to effectively work independently or with a team.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Traffic Engineering
• Must have a Professional Engineer license in Ohio or be willing to obtain one within 6 months.
• Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) is a plus or willing to obtain certification.
• ODOT experience is preferred.
• Understanding and implementation of ODOT's guidelines and instructions for signals, lighting and ITS.
• Good interpersonal speaking and writing skills.
