Job Description

IT Analyst Lead OTC (Order to cash) is responsible for assisting in software implementation, and managing Sherwin's oracle financial product delivery team with respect to Accounts receivables, Cash, General ledger, Credit and collections, account reconciliation and integrations with boundary applications. The incumbent will lead a team of business analysts and partner with the Business Transformation team, Global Business Owners, and other DT teams to execute the rollout of Oracle ERP cloud across the globe. The role will be responsible for working in a hybrid agile environment, leading sprint sessions, assisting in gathering user requirements and configuring and testing the ERP system within the Oracle ecosystem and across to boundary systems in the Global finance products Arena. Provide product expertise and business knowledge to ensure the solution is configured & leveraged to SW's best advantage, while also researching Oracle cloud solutions that will elevate the user experience. Proven solution management and communication skills, problem-solving skills, SOX requirements, project/implementation experience and knowledge of best practices are critical to successful performance in this role. In conjunction with working with our internal employees, this role will also work closely with our multiple consulting partners/external hires, software vendors and will require strong knowledge of Sherwin practices, processes, and culture.

  • Support and Lead efforts on the transition from project to product delivery for Digital Technology solutions in alignment with the strategic goals of Digital Technology and S-W leadership.
  • Lead Collaborations effectively with business unit leaders to define the business capabilities and experiences to be enabled by product teams.
  • Aid with driving digital effectiveness through strategic thinking and influence, while providing value to business partners
  • Ensure that applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues, while maintaining a strategic partnership with software vendors to ensure Sherwin needs are identified via enhancement requests and private preview options.
  • Effectively lead meetings with multiple stakeholders across business, IT, and implementation partner.
  • Initiate and facilitate the use of Jira to help alleviate the use of manual spreadsheets for project tracking.
  • Assist the EDO data team in extracting and determining standardization for cloud fields.
  • Collaborates with programs, products, and projects to understand technology dependencies, risks, and opportunities while working with the IT Functional/Technical Manager to translate that collaboration into developing technical solutions to solve for software functionality gaps.
  • Support team members with building ERP and cloud skills, including training, skills assessment.
  • Partner with the Business Transformation organization to build user stories that will ensure business scenarios are well outlined.
  • Assist in bridging the gap between cloud ERP and all associated boundary systems by ensuring that the functional requirements for the boundary system are being satisfied by data from the cloud.
  • Work closely with the Platform team on functional and technical specs for extensions and reports

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study (e.g., Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • 8+ years IT experience
  • 5+ years of Oracle application experience in any of the following modules: Accounts Receivable, Advanced Collections, Credit Management, iReceivables, Subledger Accounting (SLA), eBusiness Tax, Payables, General Ledger
  • 5+ years' experience of ERP implementation experience
  • 2+ years of implementing or utilizing agile methodologies in a technology organization.
  • Experience or knowledge of basic SOX requirements for financial software and reporting
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives and meet timelines.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • High skilled in being able to manage large projects initiatives.
  • Understanding of various essential business functions of an organization
  • Proven ability to collaborate across large organizations.
  • Ability to make quick decisions, while managing to low-risk solutions

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of working knowledge of oracle cloud ERP applications.
  • Experience working in High radius collections cloud applications and integrations.
  • Basic Accounting Knowledge of financials
  • Oracle ERP Cloud Experience
  • PMP, Agile certification

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • Ability to understand underlying ERP Finance process with respect to Finance ERP Oracle modules
  • Basic SQL skills
  • Ability to manage/support/update key stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Finance accounting concepts, Oracle finance On-prem/Cloud ERP modules
  • Strong understanding of security roles/responsibilities with ERP finance systems
  • Strong Commitment to inclusion and Diversity

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of Service Now & Jira for managing enterprise digital workflows
  • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP cloud finance modules

This position is eligible to work in the office three days a week and has the option to work remotely two days a week.
