Summary:
The CT Technologist performs all CT procedures to produce cross-sectional images of patient's body by proper positioning of the patient for diagnostic purposes according to protocol and age specific needs, adhering to ALARA and Image Gently guidelines.

Technical Expertise
1.Experience in performing CT images in a hospital x-ray department or private radiological laboratory is required.
2.Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
3.Experience in healthcare is preferred.
4.Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. RIS, PACS, or other related software is preferred.
Education and Experience1.Education: Graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology is required.
2.Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA certification is required. Certified with ARRT in Diagnostic X-ray and Computed Tomography. Licensed/certified to practice in specific state of employment is required.
3.Years of relevant experience: Minimum of 0 to 2 years is preferred.
4.Years of experience supervising: None.
