Description

LinQuest is seeking a full-time Senior Acquisition Engineer to support the Armament Directorate (AFLCMC/EB) by working on a team chartered to develop the Weapons Government Reference Architecture (GRA). The Weapons GRA aims to accelerate the acquisition and fielding of new weapons capabilities through its implementation of open standards, commonality and requirements tracing to design and test verification methods. The candidate must have a willingness to learn Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) tools that implement Systems Modeling Language (SysML).

Required Skills:

  • Experienced with DoD Acquisition Process
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of systems engineering and integration activities
  • Able to perform all duties both independently and as part of a team
  • Hands-on technical drive and accountability
  • Collaborate well with a diverse group of skill sets and backgrounds
  • High motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communicator

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of industry, federal government experience, or SETA/FFRDC supporting federal government acquisition
  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, or related technical or engineering field
  • Experience developing executable architectures, system models, and simulations
  • An active SECRET clearance

Preferred Experience:

  • Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, or related technical or engineering field
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools such as SysML
  • TS/SCI Clearance
