Job Description

Position Summary

The Parker Compliance Internship Program is focused on developing new talent by exposing interns to dynamic and challenging fields. Interns gain a valuable understanding of real-world projects, tasks, challenges, and opportunities within the industry. Students typically work from late May to mid-August and are provided with specific, meaningful, measurable goals.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in-office 40 hours per week during the Summer
  • Currently pursuing or planning to pursue a degree at an accredited college or university in the United States
  • Ability to work effectively on a variety of assignments (i.e., ability to multitask)
  • Ability to work individually as well as work effectively with others as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft and Google Forms
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau

Responsibilities

  • This individual will work closely with the Corporate Compliance team
  • Assist with creating training using PowerPoint and Articulate
  • Assist with creating SharePoint site
  • Assist with updating compliance procedures / standard work
  • Assist with updating the audit / business review software system
  • Assist with user access reviews
  • Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley programs and procedures
  • Collaborate on annual policy review initiative
  • Perform quality assessment reviews (QAR) of documents for clarity and accuracy
  • Perform other duties as assigned
