The Community Relations and Corporate Initiatives team is responsible for creating and implementing a community engagement strategy throughout the enterprise and ensuring that teammates are engaged in volunteerism and financial empowerment programming.

Community Relations and Corporate Initiatives seeks a talented and motivated Corporate Responsibility (CR) Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate for this role will be accountable for examining CR (Corporate Responsibility) data to extract important insights, trends, and opportunities that will help in making business decisions, encouraging sustainable practices, and effectively narrating KeyBank's CR story. The CR Analyst will assist in the programmatic delivery of KeyBank's financial empowerment program. Additionally, the candidate will assist with creating speaking points and presentations for stakeholder engagement.

Essential Job Functions:

Analytical Functions

  • Research and analyze corporate responsibility trends, best practices, and regulations to inform strategy development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of community engagement initiatives, collecting feedback and data for continuous improvement.
  • Manage and report on key performance indicators related to CR goals and objectives.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on community investments, community engagement, financial empowerment activities to support KeyBank's community impact and regulatory reporting.
  • Support community engagement initiatives, including volunteer programs, local and national partnerships.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and communication materials to highlight KeyBank's corporate responsibility initiatives and outcomes.
  • Collect CR impact stories in partnership with marketing and communications.
  • Manage intake process for financial empowerment workshop requests, identify, and manage gaps in delivery across Key's footprint. Provide technical assistance for volunteer tracking and stakeholder engagement platforms.
  • Help to design and develop civic engagement playbooks and orientation for new Key teammates.

Community Engagement & Volunteer Programmatic Functions

  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of community events, including but not limited to financial empowerment workshops, volunteer activities, and corporate sponsorships.
  • Assist with the scheduling and logistics of market-level community listening sessions, ensuring smooth execution, documentation of community needs, and timely follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Responsibility Officers and retail leadership to develop regional Financial Empowerment Councils to engage with local communities.
  • Work with National Community Engagement Strategist to implement tactics focused on establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, community partners, nonprofits, and local stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about market level community needs, trends, and opportunities to make recommendations for engagement and line of business strategies.
  • Work with the Senior Manager, Financial Education and Volunteer Programs to increase awareness of KeyBank's financial empowerment program with communities, schools and districts, small businesses, and approved nonprofit, civic and community-based organizations, while helping develop a framework for regular deployment within Key's footprint.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, sustainability, social responsibility, or a related field.
  • Project management skills to ensure timely and accurate CR reporting deliverables.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation development.
  • Experience in developing community engagement programs and financial empowerment initiatives.
  • Ability to develop knowledge of Community Reinvestment Act, and community development services requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $60,000 to $85,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
