Job Brief:
As a member of the Regulatory Reporting team, the Regulatory Reporting Analyst will be primarily responsible for the preparation and review of the Company's quarterly, monthly and weekly regulatory reports, and participation in related projects involving complex financial analysis. This position will work closely with the regulatory reporting members, business leaders in Finance and Treasury, and engage with Lines of Business. This position requires an understanding of the bank's operations, organizational, and legal structure; and offers visibility across the bank as the individual will be in contact with different lines of business.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Actively participate in finance data transformation projects. Foster an understanding and development of critical data flows from various sources to financial reports with a focus on process automation and standardization.
  • Initiate and develop new procedures to enhance operating efficiency. Identify opportunities for enhancement based on analysis of trends in financial reporting. Ability to communicate to management and strategic finance partners the value of enhancement opportunities.
  • Prepare and review quarterly financial reports (e.g., Call Reports, FRY-9C, FR Y-15, FR 2644, FR 2900, etc.) prescribed by the banking regulators ensuring accuracy of all data reported and conformance with regulatory instructions and timely submission.
  • Assist in preparing for external and internal audits and exams.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Treasury, Technology, etc.) on system modifications for financial products as a subject matter expert for regulatory reporting team.
  • Adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
  • Perform special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • * Bachelor's Degree (Finance, Accounting, MIS or related field).
  • * 3+ years of financial institution experience, emphasis on financial reporting
  • * Certified Public Accountant (or working towards obtaining license)
  • * Experience with information systems (i.e., Oracle, Workday Financials, AxiomSL, REG-Reporter, Wdesk, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • * Demonstrated ability to learn automated data analysis tools and techniques.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $75,000 to $83,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
