Qualified candidate must be able to report to the Tiedeman Offices 2 days per week.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Provide advanced level support to department manager and associates to ensure accurate, complete and timely generation of trust fees. In addition, provide support to department manager through information analysis and reporting. Generate various reports for management, line of business and regulatory reporting. Develop ad hoc reports as needed.

Revenue Administration supports the fee process for the Key PrivateBank and Institutional Asset Services. The department is expected to ensure a high level of client service while also ensuring that risks to the organization are mitigated.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the end-to-end fee process including account setup, maintenance, fee calculation, fee collections, statistics gathering and overall system architecture. Use system and process expertise to support the activities of the department.
  • Prepare monthly line of business reporting, as well as develop ad hoc reporting as needed.
  • Monitor, track and review written procedures. Responsible for the review process to ensure procedures are updated to reflect current operating standards, regulatory requirements and department internal controls.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues of a complex or sensitive nature. Provide support to Revenue Specialists/Ananlysts with research and resolution to fee problems and entering computation requests.
  • Assist in training new employees or existing employees learning new functions.
  • Contribute ideas for improvement appropriately. Participate in and lead small department initiatives to increase efficiency and improve service.
  • Positively represent the team and the organization to Line of Business partners, as well as in client interactions. Assist in the development of positive relationships between the team and Line of Business partners by exhibiting a professional manner on a daily basis.
  • Communicate changes in standards, procedures, or expectations to Line of Business partners in order to ensure open lines of communication among the teams and to avoid disruptions in service to the external client.
  • Manage time effectively and balance workload to meet required deadlines by exhibiting the ability to multitask and refocus on numerous processes simultaneously.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four-year degree in Business or Finance or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience with investment management, trust or trust operations preferred.
  • Prior experience with revenue recognition, general ledger and finance functions preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative ability.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Cognos, and/or databases.
  • Knowledge of Global Plus and Global Office systems preferred.
  • Proven experience and success in a team environment.
  • Proven problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate the Key Values.
  • Ability to learn detailed processes quickly and function independently with limited supervision.
  • Strong peer leadership skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $55,000 to $65,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
