Responsibilities

Candiate will support the client Defense Departmental Reporting System (DDRS). DDRS provides standard reports required by Treasury, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) for various entities within DoD; that are produced at the Service (Agency) or DoD Component level and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Statements that must be consolidated for the entire DoD. Candidates will work within the confines of Government provided software tools as well as within the confines of software distribution via a desktop management service. Candidates must have the below identified programming languages. The candidate must be able to work in a distributed team environment.

Primary development duties are the conversion/migration of Oracle Reports and Forms to Oracle APEX.

Plans, directs, and coordinates all activities associated with creating software across multiple functional areas and products. Prioritizes and allocates projects, products, and resources with the assistance of architects and managers. Participates in the strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of the software products. Makes employment decisions, such as hiring, rewarding. Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of a multi-team or cross-functional organization. Directs software development projects to include, ensuring that projects are completed on time and according to quality standards, facilitating communication upward and across project team including project status, justifications for variances and technical information. Organizes projects through development of a project plan which includes communication of product goals as defined by top management, definition of project strategy, identification of the roles and responsibilities of key project groups, development of a schedule with key milestones, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of project resources. Monitors technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD 12 years in lieu of degree.
  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a Public Trust Clearance
  • Minimum 3 years experience using Oracle APEX
  • Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports
  • Must have Advanced PL/SQL skills
  • Oracle DBMS 12c or higher
  • JavaScript programming language
  • HTML
  • Development experience in an AGILE Methodology

Desired Qualifications:

  • APEX Office Print (AOP)
  • Prefer 5 years of Oracle APEX

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
